Lorenzo Ariemma_

I am a freelance IT consultant based in Rome, operating under the inIT0 brand. I design, build and maintain IT infrastructure for companies and professionals: networks and firewalls, virtualization clusters, backup strategies and security hardening. I currently serve as CSO of Rocket Way, an Italian ISP, managing its datacenter.

Before going freelance I spent years in academic research at Roma Tre University, where I earned a PhD studying Internet routing (BGP) and co-created Kathará, an open-source network emulator used in universities worldwide. That background means I don’t just configure things: I understand why they work, and why they break.

I also teach: computer networks, cybersecurity and data science courses at Roma Tre and LUISS, and I train the next generation of ethical hackers for CyberChallenge.IT.
